Fox have released the official trailer for Absolutely Fabulous – The Movie (which you can watch below), and it promises to be every bit as hilarious as the TV series!
The movie, which will open in cinemas this July, involves Eddy trying to woo Kate Moss to join her PR firm, though her efforts result in her accidentally pushing the supermodel into the River Thames.
The model’s presumed death leads to a ton of online abuse against Eddy not to mention a brick through her window from Stella McCartney (“That’s the first thing I’ve ever had from Stella”) and soon Eddy flees to the South of France, “where everyone’s a criminal”, with Patsy in tow.
As you will see from the hilarious trailer, a number of celebrities make cameos including Graham Norton, Stella McCartney, Jon Hamm, Rebel Wilson, Lily Cole, Emma Bunton, Jeremy Paxman, Jerry Hall, Dame Joan Collins, and even Perez Hilton.
A host of regular favourites from the TV series also reprised their roles for the movie. These include Julia Sawalha as Saffy, Jane Horrocks as Bubble, Celia Imrie as Claudia Bing, June Whitfield as Eddy’s mother.
