If you’re a Gilmore Girls fan then you will no doubt be aware that the show has been revived for a 4 part series on Netflix.
Taking place almost ten years after the series ended, fans were ecstatic to see their favourite Stars Hollow residents back on their TV screens.
If you’re a hardcore fan however then there was possibly one other reason why you were thrilled to see the series making a comeback … FINALLY we would find out the 4 words that the Gilmore Girls creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, had always planned to end the show on.
From the very beginning Sherman-Palladino has said there were four words she knew she would always end the show with.
When Sherman-Palladino left after season 6 due to a contractual dispute, she never got the chance to end the show the way she had always planned and fans were left wondering what those four words would have been.
Since then, Sherman-Palladino has never revealed what those final four words would be, prompting thousands upon thousands of guesses from fans online.
Now that the show has made a brief comeback however, we FINALLY know.
And it was soo worth the wait!! Those who have seen the endig are already begging for another series, and fortunately Sherman-Palladino has said that she is open to the idea of more episodes if the fans want it.
So, if you don’t want to know how the series ends, don’t read on!
Fittingly, the final four words are between Rory and Lorelai.
Here they are:
Eeek! A baby Gilmore! We have another four words.
Netflix, another series please.
