What I Wore: Two Tone Jeans, Blue Leather Top & Louboutins!

photo

What a weekend!!

After judging ladies day in Dundalk last Saturday, (keep an eye out for an upcoming blog post on my races outfit!), I headed back to Dublin to attend a party at my aunt’s house.

Since I was a kid, my mam’s side of the family have always been very close, and every few months, we all throw a big family get-together.

This time around, it was to celebrate my aunty Antoinette’s 50th! A big milestone that deserved a big shindig!

The night itself was so much fun and, well, let’s just say, I was a little worse for wear the following day! Haha!

Because we were heading to my aunty’s house, a dress just would have just been that bit too dressy, so I instead opted for a pair of jeans and a nice bright top.

I felt comfortable, yet stylish! Comfort is always the one thing I look for in an item, whether it be shoes or clothes. Lets face it, there is nothing worse than heading out for a night all dressed up in a new outfit but feeling so uncomfortable in it. It’s never worth it, and it can ruin your whole night.

When I posted photos from the night on my SoSueMe_ie Instagram and Facebook pages, there was a lot of interest in my jeans. Well, they’re from a brand called Koral Los Angeles, and the range was just recently introduced to Selfridges in London.

These jeans are so comfortable, beautifully tailored in shape, and overall, really stylish.

My top was from Oasis and is part of the new ‘Loved By Mollie’ range. The Saturday’s Mollie King is working in conjunction with Oasis this year, and this leather top was one of her pics for Spring/Summer ‘14.

I also just realised that on the night I met her, she was wearing that same blue leather top (I think she had hers altered to a crop top though)!12

I actually had dinner with Mollie in London earlier this year, and found her to be such a nice girl. She is also really beautiful in person too.

Mollie was so excited about fronting a collection with Oasis and I can see why! There are some seriously beautiful pieces in her ‘Loved By Mollie’ range.

My statement necklace is from the Newbridge Silverware collection, eShe, and I loved it the moment I laid eyes on it!

It is slightly gold in tone, and the floral detail on it is so pretty and feminine. It’s one of those investment pieces that will never date. I love those kind of jewellery pieces, because they can instantly dress up a plain outfit. Such a handy accessory to have.

There you have it guys – my party look in full!  Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the next ‘What I Wore’ post featuring my Dundalk races outfit!

Sue xx
