So today I am here with a new fashion look.
I am delighted to be collaborating with Marks & Spencer’s in this blog post showcasing one of my favourite looks from their Autograph collection.
I have great memories of shopping in M&S over the years with my mum especially for our Christmas clothes! So I was only too delighted when they got in touch and asked me to showcase my favourite holiday outfit from their website.
The look I chose is head-to-toe linen. Linen is a big fabric trend this summer but to be honest, it’s kind of a classic, so it’s never not ‘on-trend’, if you know what I mean! Personally I have always found linen an ideal item in a summer wardrobe because it’s so light, so easy to wear, very flattering on, and also has such a nice tropical summer vibe to it!
So, for this collaboration, I chose this perfect peach duo which I fell madly in love with as soon as I saw it!
First up are these beautiful peach blush cigarette pants. I’ve always loved wearing cigarette pants because they are SO flattering on, and SO comfortable to wear.
Next up was the matching sleeveless waistcoat. I just love the simplicity and the colour of this – it’s perfect for summer! The great thing about this piece too is that it’s totally versatile, You could wear this over shorts, or together with the pants as a suit/co-ord like I did.
For underneath, I chose a nice eyelash lace bra. As you will know from a previous post on SoSueMe, the underwear-as-outerwear is another big trend we’re going to be seeing everywhere this summer so I thought for this look, it would be nice to include a light flash of lace.
This particular lace bralet is very comfy on and has a double band clasp, so again, super comfy and great for supporting your chest. The one thing I love is that you really can feel the luxury and quality in each piece. You know they’re going to last you.
The faux leather saddle bag I chose is AMAZING on and in my opinion a total nod to the Chloe Drew Bag. (Plus, I LOVED the colour!)
It’s such a fab accessory and works with every type of outfit, whether it be dressy, casual or casual-dressy!
To accessorize, I chose this pavé ring which looks extremely pretty on, as well as these tortoiseshell round sunglasses. The sunglasses in particular are another summer staple (and very Jackie-O in style too I thought!)
