Life Style Sports have just launched the new adidas Originals range and I am in love!! This exciting range of varsity inspired street style apparel, footwear and accessories is available for both men and women, just in time for Summer ’14!
The new collection from adidas Originals features bright colours and bold prints mixed up with some fresh monochrome pieces and is all about looking good, whatever you’re up to!
This year, it’s all about Varsity, with the laid-back ‘Athletic chic’ or as we know it – ‘the SPORTS LUXE trend look’ is taking centre stage this season. Key pieces from the new range include the women’s adidas Originals LA Trainer tank (€28) which is bang on trend featuring the Americana style number print. With its lightweight material and longer length, it’s the perfect layering piece. For men, the monochrome adidas Originals Tongue Lab Fade tee (€26) paired with the retro running style of the adidas Originals ZX100 trainers (€70) are the must-have wardrobe update this season.

I headed along to the Lifestyle Sports HQ to check out the new collection and I ended up styling my favourite guy’s and girl’s looks from the range. 1. What would say are the key trends for the Summer 14?
Super bright colour blocking, classic monochrome and of course, sports luxe. These are all really versatile wearable trends for this season.
2. Tell us your three Summer style essentials?
I’d say a cool pair of wedged high tops for looking glam while running about! An oversized bag – perfect for the beach and teamed with a boho styled outfit. And last but not least, a pair of Levi’s cut off denim shorts.
3. What are your favourite pieces from the new adidas Originals Summer 14 collection?
So easy to answer! The black and white ‘Torsion’ print leggings, the white varsity print over- sized Tee and the colourful snap backs, which make a funky alternative to wearing say, a trilby hat by the pool.
4. How would incorporate pieces from the adidas Originals Summer 14 collection into your existing wardrobe?
By embracing the sports luxe trend, so teaming the over- sized adidas tee with my levi cut offs, white wedge high tops and a snap back!

Absolutely!!! I am loving Life Style Sports lately for helping me create that effortless sports luxe trend! If you wanted to snap up some key pieces for that athletic chic look I’d go for some brightly coloured snap backs, a pair of high top trainers which can be dressed up or down and one of cross body bags which’ll store all your Summer essentials easily.
