Another day, Another Awards ceremony.
We are like kids in a candy shop with all these red carpet ceremonies in Hollywood of recent. There’s something indulgent about lying on your couch pigging out on all the designer gowns, critiquing and complimenting Movie and Televisions finest.
So, as expected, we’ve compiled some of the looks from last nights Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Let’s start with one of last weeks Golden Globes favourites – Lupita Nyong’o.
The beautiful 12 Years A Slave Star stole the red carpet last week in her caped red Ralph Lauren. It was going to be a tough look to follow up but she did it. Once again in a striking colour block of aqua blue, by Gucci. The detail in the neck and her flawless skin are just divine.
American Hustle star Amy Adams has been varying it up this season. From plunging loose styles to last nights structured cut-out Antonio Berardi.
Leading Actress nominee Sandra Bullock took a risk in this metallic green Lanvin number that could have looked like a sweet wrapper on anyone else but looked fab on her.
Everybodies favourite Hollywood girl Jennifer Lawrence wore her designer of choice Dior. Boob tube style once again but this time in a disco style sparkly floor length.
Ohh la la, It’s Sofia Vergara. Keeping the festive sparkle going in Donna Karen Atelier, The woman can do no wrong.
Kerry Washington proved that even Mommys-To-Be can take red carpet risks. Wearing a Prada crop top and full skirt, her look was so high-fashion and yet still so pretty as a maternity look. Bravo girl!
Isla Fishers Oscar De La Renta could almost pass as a bridal gown. Beautiful against her ivory skin and red hair.
Camila Alves and hubby Matthew McConnaughy have been giving Hollywood couples a lesson in ‘Husband/Wife’ Fashion this awards season. Taking a break from her usual dark choices of gown, the gorgeous Camila wore this striking mustard Donna Karan.
E! anchor Giuliana Rancic was in attendance for her usual red carpet coverage. She was wearing this years hot colour – ‘Radiant Orchid‘.
There were a lot of stars in hues of navy/violet, proving that indeed it is the shade to watch this year … let’s see who else wore similar shades.
Kelly Osbourne
Breaking Bads Anna Gunn
Jennifer Garner
Claire Danes
Julia Roberts had us all fooled in this Valentino dress … Or so we thought. The Veteran actress lifted her leg for E! to reveal that it was in fact a jumpsuit underneath!
I love this pretty style from Marchesa on New Girl star Hannah Simone. You can always rely on Marchesa for a flouncey girly number.
Last but not least, another neutral number on Kaley Cuoco in Vera Wang.
Of course, there were many many more to see. If we’ve left out your favourite, be sure to let us know in the comments section.
And we’ll be seeing you again at next weeks Grammy Awards
