How bad is that weather? Ugh, so horrible outside!
It makes you want to do nothing other than curl up into a ball under the covers with your PJ’s on, a cuppa in hand, and a good show on the telly. (Who else is hooked on Love Island? Haha!)
Weather like this means those summery open-toed shoes have to take a back seat. Fortunately however, this doesn’t mean the style stakes have to drop. For dreary days like these, there is a very stylish alternative: funky trainers. These are the kind that form that basis of some of our favourite street style looks.
We love wearing ours with a nice pair of high-waisted Levi’s or ripped denim jeans.
In fact, you can totally ‘street-ify’ any outfit when you pair your trainers with distressed denims, and a black leather biker or bomber. If the weather is nice enough, you can wear them with a cute t-shirt dress.
Even Victoria Beckham has been spotted wearing her Superstars underneath black trousers and a jacket, and it was regarded as her coolest look yet.
