We’ve been Style-Watching on Instagram as always, and we’ve noticed a common style that the celebs are loving right now…
The ‘Power Suit’.
Cara Delevingne led the way by posting this insta snap of herself rocking a Mulberry royal blue two-piece. This isn’t the first time the model has opted for a power suit. She has previously shared snaps of herself modelling an all-white Burberry number. If anyone can rock the androgynous look it’s Cara.
Next up, to also wear all white was Kourtney Kardashian. The reality star was out in New York with her sisters Kim and Khloe and her designer of choice was Dolce & Gabbana. Unlike Cara who chose to bare underneath her blazer, Kourtney went with an extra piece to the suit – a waistcoat.
Let’s not forget ‘Suit Of The Week’ … This particular suit was shared all over Instagram and blogs alike when a certain power couple rocked up to the BAFTAs on Sunday evening.
We are of course talking about Angelina Jolie. Ange opted out of a gown instead donning a matching suit to hubby Brad Pitt. Opinions were divided over her choice of outfit but if anyone is confident enough to pull off the masculine look, it’s sexy Angelina.
We predict these ladies are paving the way for a new formal fashion choice for women this year. Who says it always has to be a dress? Why not try a power suit to attend your childs communion this year, Or for a fancy work do?! There are many occasions where you can style yourself out of the norm. If its good enough for these stars, it’s good enough for us.
