Every Autumn/Winter, I always invest in some oversized cardigans and ponchos. For me, they are the wardrobe staples that will never date! The versatile oversized poncho cardigan can be worn with almost everything, and, not only do you look super stylish, you will be extra toastie too 🙂
I always team my oversized ponchos with jeans and a long sleeved shirt or tank top… I sometimes wear it over a cute dress, or simply as a top – the list of ‘HOW TO STYLE’ with these ponchos is endless!
Over the weekend, I hosted my third SoSueMe Workshop On Tour, and on the day, we had a fun fashion section which featured an A/W 14 live fashion show. Everyone went crazy for this tartan poncho below on my sister Carla.
The cranberry colours are so on trend, as is the tartan print, and best of all, this colour will suit every hair shade, which is a bonus for all you SoSueMe readers out shopping for your winter wardrobe!
The great thing about these ponchos is they have a cute little faux fur collar, which takes it straight from looking like your grandmas blanket to a chic and wearable fashion piece! I actually wore mine out for a bite to eat on Saturday night over my leather jacket. Lots of you were asking about my ‘jacket’… well it was simply this poncho which I got for just €45.
