What I Wore: Black V Plunge Dress, Ariana Grande Hair & Pink Lips!

me and carla

Each year, myself and the girls have our Christmas night out which is always so much fun. We all get together, have some nice food, drinks, chats and catch ups. We all work really hard, so we dont get to see each other as much as we would like to, so when our xmas night out rolls around – we all get so excited and plan a big night out.

This year we had dinner booked in Opium. I’ve spoken on here about Opium before and it still stands as one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Amazing cocktails, delicious food and loud music that makes you want to dance – what more could you want?! 🙂

After dinner we had a table book in Krystle and so we headed there to meet up with the lads – they had their night out too, so it was nice to all regroup after dinner 🙂 More the merrier as they say.

On the night I posted a picture of my outfit and hair. A lot of you were asking me Q’s about my makeup/tan etc and so I am here to fill you in on everything 🙂

dres detaila

My dress is from a little clothing boutique in town called CherrieBum. I had loads of meetings in town last week and on my way to one, I passed by this shop and stopped in for a look. I instantly fell in love with this black dress and knew it would be perfect for my girls night out.

I decided to glam up the dress a little and so I went for my gold shoes from Lara. These shoes are so comfy and they look really expensive in person, almost designer looking. They have glitter and a little leopard skin pattern on the heel and look really different, so I went with them.

hair

Now for hair and makeup. I wanted something glam and a change from my big hair I usually go with. I am a huge fan of Ariana Grande and adored her hair here in this picture above and I asked my hairdresser/friend Ami McPartlin to recreate the look for me. I love my hair up and off my face, yet I love big bouncy curls too, so when Ami say the picture, she said the look was perfect for me. I was nervous when she was doing it, because I always go with the same hair style, but in the end I loved it.

makeup

Makeup: Because my hair was off my face, I decided to create quite a dark, smokey eye with lots of liner and lashes. Of course no SoSueMe look is ever complete without some lippy  – I decided on pink and chose to use my NYX MLS 02 shade with some gloss over it. I absolutely love these lipsticks, they’re lasting power is amazing. On the night I tried my They’re Real Liner by Benefit and I love it… how have I not used it before.

I posted about it to the FB last night and there was a very divided opinion, personally I love it. Very easy to use and again, the lasting power is so good.

dress

My tan on the night was Lauren’s Way by Olivia in Allure Beauty. I havent had a spray tan in awhile and every-time I have it done, lots of you ask about my tan. Lauren’s Way is a gorgeous golden colour and the wear off isn’t too bad either.

And there you have it…. hope I answered all of your Q’s! Now its off to do the rest of my Christmas Shopping.

Hope you all have a nice Monday, at least the week is short… Christmas in three days YAY!
