Summer Fave: Bodysuits!

IMG_9126-804x1024

Hey guys,

So another fashion post 🙂 I’ve always been a pretty big fan of bodysuits.

In fact, as you can see in the pic below, I was wearing them as far back as 2012! It’s only this year however that they have become a MAJOR fashion staple.

I know they’re not to everyone’s taste, but they can be good for when you want a neat and smooth, fitted look.

They look amazing with skinny jeans, or a pencil skirt and the great thing is that they can be found in a range of styles, so you are bound to find one to suit your taste. They are also really affordable, which is great considering how much wear you will get from them!

After I got a lot of questions from readers about the bodysuits I have been wearing recently, I thought I would put together a post featuring my top choices!

1/

AMY BASIC WRAP FRONT BODYSUIT

You can’t go wrong with a classic style such as this. You could dress this up or down; it will suit whatever look you are going for.

Personally I love a wrap front on a top or a dress, because I think it always really flatters the figure.

This Amy bodysuit is also available in pink, but I think black is a better buy because it’s a colour you know you will get so much wear from. Although to be honest, at just €14, you could totally buy it in both colours!

If you are looking for a bodysuit with a wrap front in plus size, I found one on Missguided!

This is such a pretty bodysuit! I particularly like the navy colour as it could be worn with a pencil skirt to the office, or with black ripped skinny jeans for coffee with the girls.

The Victoria comes in coral, navy, white, and black.

The lace-up detail on the front of this instantly won me over. It has such a fab Boho vibe to it!

If you’re going to Electric Picnic later this year, this bodysuit paired with frayed shorts and a fringe jacket would be a great look!

This is such a glam number! And I am loving the strap detail on the front. It gives it a subtle sexiness, I think.

I may be picking this one up for myself yet. The white and black ones have caught my eye.

I also found a plus-size version of this, and it comes in black, white and grey.

I’m not really one for turtle necks, but I do like this one. I could totally imagine Kimmy K wearing this.

I love the colour too. It’s so pretty, and it’s the kind of colour you could wear anywhere really. I love how it looks so ‘business elegant’ when it’s paired with a white pencil skirt.

I love this peach number. So glam and perfect for a night out.

Isn’t peach is such a gorgeous, flattering shade? It suits everyone.

There is a misconception that you have to be a size 8 to wear a bodysuit. You absolutely don’t. Bodysuits are available in plus size versions and they look super stylish.

I chose this one because the front detail on really compliments the gorgeous curves.

Happy shopping!
