Last Friday, when I uploaded images from my day in Galway, I got lots of questions about the dresses I wore when attending Ladies Day in Ballybrit on Thursday, and when judging the Best Dressed competition in The Claregalway Hotel that night.
What I didn’t bank on however was the number of questions I would receive about the two casual outfits I wore before and in between the main events!
So, after reading your messages and comments on my SoSueMe Instagram account and Facebook page, I was definitely inspired to do a ‘What I Wore’ post on the two looks in question!
This first look I wore on Wednesday night. Even though the main events were taking place on Thursday, Dylan and I decided to avoid the mad morning traffic by driving down to Galway the night before.
After the two hour drive, we went for some dinner so I decided on this stylishly casual outfit.
What I Wore Details: Jeans: River Island // Jumper: H&M //
Shoes: Savida – Dunnes Stores
Lots of you especially loved my Valentino-esque shoes, which I picked up from the Savida range in Dunnes Stores just last week! I love them and it seems they are sold out in a lot of the Dunnes after I posted the picture to my social media! 🙂
After attending Ladies Day, where I wore a yellow dress by Eamonn McGill and a headpiece by Suzanne Ryan Millinery, Dyl and I headed back to the Claregalway Hotel for a quick bite to eat and to prepare for the task of judging the hotel’s annual Best Dressed Competition.
My dress for the event itself was a black and white number from The Dress Pantry, however, for dinner, I wore the following look from River Island and Cari’s Closet:
What I Wore Details: Jeans: River Island // Black Peplum Top: Cari’s Closet
Belt: Moschino // Shoes: Dunnes Stores (Savida)

Hope you enjoyed the post!
