What I Wore: Weekend Style!

download (15)

Hey guys!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend…?

On Friday after my big announcement, myself and Dylan went away for the night with my parents to celebrate. While we were down in Co. Wexford, myself my mum took a trip to Eikon Nail & Beauty House where we had some lovely treatments done, which I am going to tell you all about in another blog post. I don’t want to over load you with information in this one… because right now we are chatting fashion.

Recently I came across a page on Facebook called Get That Trend. Get That Trend is an online boutique supplying a large range of young women’s fashion to the Irish market. They are based in Co. Donegal, but deliver nationwide. I for one was blown away by their vast collection and the SUPER affordable prices.

They have lots of celebrity inspired looks, which is always great when you’re looking for outfit inspiration! I couldn’t get over the prices too – they’re so reasonable.

When I was looking on their site, I fell in love with this cape above! I just love capes…. there is just something so elegant about them! You can literally wear them with anything and I’m always on the lookout for new versatile styles.

The cape was the first thing I wanted and then after I saw a Kim K Inspired dress on the site – I wanted that too costing just €28.

I wore the cape for the first time last Friday on the way to Wexford and it went really well over my jeans and boots! I love the monochrome look, so this cape was right up my street!

One thing I will say, the delivery service with Get That Trend is really fast and efficient. I ordered on the Tuesday and had my package sitting in my house delivered and all by the Thursday! That is good going, especially if like me and you want your online orders asap 🙂

When we went out to dinner following a ton of pampering, I decided to wear this black blazer dress (below) and black heels from Get That Trend! These heels are sooo comfortable – that is the first thing I noticed and for €43, its a win/win!

The dress is very glam and comfortable on too.. but what I really love about this dress is, it’s the perfect day-to-night kind of piece!

If you wanted, you could totally play it down by teaming this dress with a shirt and tights for work, and then remove both for a night out after 5.30pm. How handy is that?

Of course, Carla being my sister and loving clothes, she asked if could she wear the dress on the Saturday night, so I washed it for her that day and she wore it out on Saturday night and she loved it too.

I mean for €28, you really cant go wrong! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

Happy Shopping!

Lots of love!
