What I Wore: White Ripped Jeans, Lace and Cobalt Blue Louboutins!

download (3)

Hey guys!

Last weekend, a gang of us headed out for a few drinks in town to celebrate my sister Carla’s birthday. We had such a great night!

From the moment I posted the pictures, the questions came flooding in. Lots of you guys wanted to know what tan Carla and I were wearing. Well we’d both had the Lauren’s Way spray tan applied by Olivia in Allure Beauty & Spa. I love this tan; it’s one of my all time favourites.

Those of you who wanted to know about the make-up products I used on the night, can find them all listed HERE!

My outfit for the night was a nice mix of Penney’s, River Island, Dunnes Stores, and Louboutins, accessorised with a touch of Mi Moneda!

The Louboutin heels and my black top were the two items that seemed to get the most attention from readers after the pictures were posted!

The Louboutins are actually brand new, and I’m so in love with them! The striking colour was what immediately caught my eye! The red soles were nice and new when the above picture was taken, but a night on the dance floor meant they came home with a good few scratches!

As for the black top, some of you loved it, some of you didn’t, but from what I have been told, some Penneys are now sold out of it and others are selling fast! 🙂

What I Wore Details:

Top: Penney’s // Jeans: River Island  Poncho: Dunnes Stores //

Shoes: The Louboutins I’m wearing are called ‘So Kate Navy Suede’, but you can find the black patent leather version here  //

Necklace: MiMoneda

After I posted pictures from the night, my outfit seemed to create a pretty huge divide in opinion. Guys, the main style concept I have always tried to promote is that you should wear what makes you happy.

You are never going to please everyone 100% of the time, which is why you cannot allow the opinions of others to dictate your choices (that goes for every area of life!) Dress for yourself, and yourself only. It doesn’t matter if others dislike it! If it’s not to their taste, then that’s fine!

As a blogger, I’m in a position where comments of every sort will be posted underneath my photos. The thing is, I don’t mind any more. Opinions are always going to differ and I totally respect that, as long as the comments aren’t nasty. If they are nasty, I will delete that person from my page. Opinions are welcomed, nastiness and cattiness is not.

Whenever I post a picture of my outfit, I know that there will be people who will love what I wear and will give my outfit the thumbs up, but equally so, I know that there will be people who will disagree with my choice and give it the thumbs down (or the middle finger!) Haha! 😉

The thing is, I loved my outfit on Saturday night. It made me feel happy and confident, and when it comes to fashion, those are the types feelings an outfit should give you! I felt great last Saturday night, and no amount of unenthusiastic comments would have changed that.

So ladies, regardless of whether your personal style is girly, goth, boho, or tomboy, don’t ever worry about what other people will think of it. The only person you should ever aim to impress is yourself!
