Fitness: Gigi Hadid’s Secret To A Fab Figure!

Girl crush Gigi Hadid has one of the best figures in the business but if you think she got it through crash diets, then think again!

Gigi LOVES her food and while she tries to eat clean 6 days, it’s her commitment to her high-intensity exercise routine that has really sculpted her body to supermodel standard.

Best of all, it’s a routine that anyone can follow!

She once told Vogue:

“My biggest thing is just eat healthy and work out. I was a volleyball player for 12 years, I rode horses my whole life, and now I box every day.

I think the biggest thing I always say is eat clean to stay fit, and then have a cheat day to stay sane.

Boxing has been great for me because it’s like my new sport, and it’s something that I can get better at.

When you’re boxing, you get so into it mentally that you kinda forget what’s going on, you forget that you’re working out”

Gigi first decided to take up boxing after moving to New York and could no longer indulge in her passion for horse riding.

She now trains at New York’s Gotham Gym every day under the guidance of former pro-fighter Rob Piela.

A typical session with Rob would kick off with Gigi using a skipping rope, before moving on to boxing and then ending with intense floor stretches normally carried out by ballet dancers.

Speaking about his training sessions with Gigi and other supermodel clients, Rob previously said:

“We start with jumping rope – there’s no better way to slim down legs — and we end with ballet-inspired floor exercises. . . . In the middle, we box, All the girls I work with 
can fight — boxing is great for someone who’s competitive.”gigi hadid

Rob likes to implement a workout pattern of 3:1, so for every three minutes of sparring in the boxing ring, Gigi then has to do one minute of core-strengthening exercises.

This upside of such a high intensity routine is that Gigi leaves the gym with her metabolism fired right up, a nice side effect considering her self-professed love of burgers and fries!

In the past Gigi has cited burgers as her main weakness, so much so that when she first moved to New York, she tried every burger joint she stumbled upon in a bid to find the perfect burger in the Big Apple!

When she’s eating clean, she regularly makes her own healthy dishes from scratch and loves fresh juices and smoothies.

She once said:

“You find how you feel your best. Whether you feel better when you’re eating gluten-free or whatever it is.

I feel better when I eat a burger every other night. Eat clean, and work out to stay fit – and have a burger to stay sane.”
