Boots Ireland opens new store in Bray
Last Wednesday I was booked to attend the opening of Boots in Bray and it was a great morning! First of all I absolutely love boots – I could spend all day in there. They always have amazing offers and the makeup brands and beauty brands are always budget friendly and good quality, so I was delighted to be asked to cut the ribbon of their newest branch!
This is the s 70th boots store in the Republic of Ireland to open and Bray, Co. Wicklow got the honours! Located at 105 Main Street, Bray, the Boots store employs 18 staff and is managed by Rob Wood.

The expertise and services delivered by its team of pharmacists is complemented by Boots’ innovative range of products including vitamins, cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances for men and women, together with photo products, electrical beauty and baby products.
Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the launch of the new store were Cathaoirleach of Bray Town Council, Cllr Ronan McManus, President of Bray Chamber of Commerce, Ian Donnelly; Anne Ferris T.D., Councillor Tracy O’Brien, Councillor John Byrne, Councillor Sarah Wray, Councillor David Grant, Councillor Barry Nevin and myself Sue! 
The new services and products on offer at the new store will give people greater choice, accommodating their needs and daily schedules in a flexible way and ultimately helping to ensure better patient outcomes. Some of our new services include:
- Prescription medicine services and management of repeat prescriptions
- Healthy heart and blood pressure checks
- Seasonal flu vaccinations
- Tony Ferguson Weight Loss Programme
- Boots Stop for Good smoking cessation programme
- Boots Maternity Tens rental
- Emergency contraception
- Travel health advice, to name but a few.
