From a festive shopping point of view, Christmas is just round the corner, and the hunt is on to find those perfect gifts to place under the tree.
So the Q on everyone lips – where can we shop for great gifts and all under the one roof? As always SoSueMe.ie has the answer!
Look no further than Kildare Village this December guys. Even if you are a bit of a scrooge, this place is bound to warm any wintery heart with their wonderful Christmas lights, late-night shopping and some exceptional offers available in store and ONLINE!
This year I have just my family to buy for! The girls and I have decided to give KK a miss this year and just treat each ourselves to a festive dinner some night, rather than buying actual gifts. But that still leaves a whole five people to buy for – I have my mum, dad, two sisters and my brother Rob. I managed to spot some great gifts for each of them here on the Kildare Village website.
Here I’ll tell you what…. I’ll let you in on two of my purchases:
So for my dad I’ve decided to get him a lovely snug warm gloves, scarf and hat set as he is the designated dog walker most evenings. My dad is a big dog lover and there is no animal he loves more than Marley his boxer and boy OH’ boy does she love him too! Every evening dad leaves the house to bring Marley for a walk and when I see him leave– I literally CRINGE! He wears NON-MATCHING scarves, gloves and hat; I think a little bit of me dies inside each time – no joke ha. Its one pet hate I have!! I sit there and pray the neighbours don’t see him, I’m talking pink gloves, a polka dot hat and at times this AWFUL paisley scarf… ugh! **shivers**. So, thankfully I’ve bough him this fabulous N Pearl Cashmere Hat, Gloves and scarf set from Kildare Village will have him looking right on trend and I won’t cringe at the thought of him running into my pals! 
For my mum, she just adores Molton Brown – very classy lady! Every Christmas when it gets dark outside my mum lights some gorgeous scented candles in our sitting room and there is nothing more homely than coming home from a days shopping, kicking back the feet on the sofa, tree lit, fire blazing with a few candles around the room whilst enjoying a hot cuppa and a mice pie! Home sweet home! So I have picked mum up a really nice Molton Brown candle and hand wash set for her ensuite. Perfect gift for her!
The Christmas gift ideas here at Kildare Village are endless and I’m sure you will find something for everyone! For those of you heading down, here are the best bits:

- And… get this – dog kennels for you ickle puppy! Yes you heard me right… dog kennels where you can leave your dog in a comfortable kennel on site while you shop. (READ MORE HERE) brilliant idea! (My dad would love this ha)
For those of you who already have your gifts purchased – check out Kildare Village anyway as they have a Santa’s sack-load of gifts just waiting to be won in their Festive Secrets competition online. Prizes range from weekends away, to stunning pieces from top brands, and Village Gift Cards. With this in mind, I decided to enter the competition online myself and I was lucky winner – now all I have to do is wait to see if I am really lucky enough to win the big weekend away.
So how do you get some of this action??
When you go onto the Kildare Village website, there is a little gold reindeer at the top right of the page- appearing as a peel page, click on that and from there you will be brought through to the Kildare Festive Secrets competitions page. You have three options- you can find a bronze reindeer, silver reindeer or GOLD reindeer. Of course the gold reindeer will have the juicer prizes, so I went for that. Hehe. What you have to do here is find the gold reindeer which is hiding within this Kildare Village website. I was lucky enough to find him, YAY…. so now I am in with a chance of winning a luxury shopping weekend away for two people. How amazing would that win be? Think I would take my mum and have a nice girlie weekend. Get entering girls – you would be mad not to!
