Fantastic Pay-It-Forward Idea We’d Love To See In Ireland!!

Not gonna lie…this story just made my day and I wanted to share. Mason Wartman was a Wall St banker who was earning great money, but wasn’t happy in his job and felt like he wanted to more with his life. In 2013 he quit to open up his own Pizza place in Philadelphia, and so Rosa’s Fresh Pizza was born. What makes his business so different from everyone else?? The act of kindness he started that has spread like wildfire in his locality.

Rosa’s Fresh Pizza sells pizza slices for $1, and when customers get to the til, they have the option of “paying it forward” and buying a slice for someone in need. Wartman got the idea from a customer and loved it so much he drew a smiley face on a post-it note and stuck it to the wall to symbolize the nice gesture. The idea was a smash hit, and now customers frequent his place all the time and buy an extra slice of pizza for someone less fortunate. All someone has to do is come in, take a post-it note and present it at the til when they haven’t any money.

Rosa’s Fresh Pizza has helped countless homeless people in the area because of this simple act of kindness, and we think it would be a great idea for someone to start in Dublin or Cork and see if the idea would work here. Dublin restaurants, consider the gauntlet laid down. If you know anyone involved in the running of a restaurant, pls share this story and help SoSueMe start a movement that could benefit a lot of people who are in need of a helping hand.
