Whether in search of adventure or looking for somewhere to get away from it all, at least one of the places featured over the last two days should be on everyone’s bucket list; I know most of them are on mine!!
Hamilton Pool, Texas

Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall as it plunges into the head of a steep box canyon, creating this natural rock pool of warm water. The waterfall never completely dries up, but in dry times it does slow to a trickle.
Tanah Lot, Indonesia

This exotic rock off the coast of Bali features an ancient temple sitting upon its crumbling face. Visitors throng to the holy temple each year, taking in the gorgeous views along the way.
Preikestolen, Norway

Also known as the Preacher’s Pulpit, visiting this 600 meter high cliff is not recommended in winter or spring when the path to the top is paved with ice. In summer though the view of the valley below is breathtaking.
Angkor Wat, Cambodia

As the largest Khmer temple complex in the world, Angkor Wat’s unique and architecture and vast size are unlike anything anywhere else in the world.
Iguazu Falls, Brazil

Taller than Niagara Falls, twice as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horsehoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River, Iguazú Falls are the result of a volcanic eruption which left yet another large crack in the earth. One of the most beautiful natural sights on Earth, check out the pier that lets you take in the view right from the edge!!!
Fiordland Park, New Zealand

This national park in New Zealand spans huge mountain ranges, lakes, rivers, forest and tourist treks. Isolated and peaceful, anyone travelling down under should take a chance to visit this serene landscape.
Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines and it is Turkey’s foremost mineral-bath spa because of its natural beauty: hot calcium-laden waters spring from the earth and cascade over a cliff. Stunning!
Bora Bora Island, Tahiti

Bora Bora Island has an unforgettable turquoise lagoon – where a multi-color aquatic fauna (sting & manta rays, sharks, tropical fishes) can be observed by outrigger canoe, boat or diving explorations. The coral reef includes a string of islets and gorgeous white sand beaches surrounding the main island.
