Ex Big Brother Contestant’s Sickening Tweets To Gary Barlow After Tragic Passing Of His Daughter

A former Big Brother contestant has taken to Twitter in what I personally feel is one of the most vile and sickening publicity stunts ever pulled. After the tragic tragic news broke a few days ago about the passing away of Gary Barlow’s fourth child, daughter Poppy, Kenneth Tong took to the social networking site and unleashed a string of abuse at Gary, joking about the tragedy.

In a number of tweets he changed lyrics of Take That songs to incorporate the deeply saddening event, saying he doesnt care what people think of him, as long as it gets him noticed.

“It’s quite a funny situation. I just thought of something funny to say and it evolved from there,” he said. “I know it’s a bit selfish but it’s about what I get out of it. This will get people’s attention. People will know my name and that’s all that matters.”

It isn’t the first time Tong has been at the centre of Twitter controversy. Last year, tweets from Tong promoted ‘managed anorexia’, but he later claimed it was an experiment to see how quickly he could trend on the social networking site.

As a father-to-be myself I can imagine the tremendous hurt this man has caused the Barlow family and for that reason Ive decided against publishing any of Tong’s disgusting tweets to Gary. It is unclear at this time whether the matter will develop into a criminal matter, but for the time being one can only hope Twitter do everything in their power to ensure this twisted and soulless man doesnt cause Gary and his wife any more hurt.
