Kate Middleton’s iconic engagement ring, which was originally owned by William’s mother Princess Diana, has had a ten fold increase in value, since it was first worn in 1981. The ring, which features a central 12 carat sapphire with 14 diamonds surrounding it, was valued at £28,000 when Prince Charles and Diana first got engaged.
The ring is currently valued at a whopping £300,000- that’s roughly €366,000! This is three times more than the £100, 000 that the Queen’s ring is currently valued at. A girl can dream!
