Kelly Clarkson wowed a North Carolina crowd with a version of Sam Smith’s massive hit Stay With Me last Sunday in her first live gig since giving birth to a lil girl in June. The cover was performed in front of a crowd of thousands, and Clarkson told the audience she was departing from her setlist to try out the song.
“It’s bluesy and it’s awesome — anybody like Sam Smith here? Well, I love this song. I know you’ve probably heard it a bunch, but just bear with me. I love it. This is called ‘Stay With Me.'”
Sounds to us like she certainly did Mr Smith justice with her version. What’s the best cover you’ve ever heard??
