Lily Allen is in the midst of a Twitter-Storm again … but this time, for the right reasons.
After an unwarranted verbal attack from legendary loudmouth lunatic Katie Hopkins, Lily hit back the only way she knows how – with a Twitter beat-down.
(For those unsure of who Hopkins is, this is the lady who caused controversy after her comments about childrens names reflecting their background/social status, and she most recently had a go at ‘Stay at home Mums’)
Hopkins was asked by Heat Magazine to speak her views on Lily (Shame on them really) she answered with this …
‘I quite liked her when she was singing and kind of interesting and then she went off to tell us all about being a mother’ … ‘She was removing herself from the spotlight because she wanted to be a mother and that largely involved gaining two stone and looking pretty hideous. Like Peaches (Geldof), she is just famous for having a famous dad.’
Understandably these comments were not met with kind feelings from Lily.
Here is her response … ‘Katie Hopkins: I am not famous for having a famous dad, I doubt that most of my fan base have a clue who my father is.’ … ‘Yes, after tragically losing a child so late into my pregnancy I may have gained a few pounds. I am one of many that find comfort in food.’ … ‘The two pregnancies that followed were terrifying because of what had happened before and I was pretty much on bed rest for 20 months. ‘I wasn’t exercising because I didn’t want to take any risks, and, funnily enough, the survival of my children felt more important than being thin.’
Bravo to Lily for finally giving Katie the telling off she needs. She has since deleted her tweets apologising to her followers but adding that ‘her kids are a touchy subject’ . That didn’t stop her flaunting a fab new Instagram snap of her slim figure to shove in Katies face.
Lily, We love ya!

The pic of Lily is amazing but wouldn’t she have been better off responding with, “who cares how fat or thin I am when I’m an incredibly successful multi billion selling musician and you are – what exactly?”
I think this Katie person feeds off all this publicity-she obviously craves attention, good or bad so please ignore her. Do we really care what she thinks?
