Mairead O’Farrell: The Winner Of Miss SoSueMe.ie & Pictures!
Saturday was a huge success – what a night! My phone hasn’t stopped buzzing with txt messages, emails and phone calls from contestants, friends, family and sponsors – saying what a fantastic night it was and how they all cant wait for next year (god I don’t know if I could cope with the stress of another haha)!
Well done to our stunning and very deserving winner Mairead O’Farrell from Co. Cork! Mairead is such a beautiful person inside and out and I cant wait to get the Miss SoSueMe.ie Blog Diary started on SoSueMe.ie about our run up to the Miss Universe Ireland finals! Keep an eye out for it!
Overall it was a fantastic day and night and I had such a great day with the 29 Miss SoSueMe.ie 2012 finalists. It was like a large sleepover with your best girlfriends. We had hair and make-up teams there, staging for rehearsals, my sister a top catwalk model showing them how to strut their stuff and an amazing choreographer Ashling Larkin showing the girls where to walk, pose etc, Lara boutique were in to dress the girls, Penneys were there with the bikinis and Crystals and Co added that touch of sparkle. SO GIRLIE and so much fun! 
All I have been hearing from everyone is how well organised the event was, how the standards were so high in terms of our finalists and how the girls had the “best night ever”! I am so happy you all enjoyed yourselves and that the night was a success – backstage was fecking HECTIC and myself and Sara are delighted the night was enjoyed by all.
I just want to say a quick thank you to everyone involved - without the people and companies I am about to mention – I COULDN’T have pulled it off!
First and foremost – my best friend, Sara Ward: My partner in crime! Sara thank you for all you have done! Chasing 30 girls ain’t easy! For the girls reading this – you know how hard Sara worked… so thank you!
Rachel McCahey: I would have been lost without you cracking the girls into shape before they went on – your encouraging words had them ready and feeling confident before they hit the stage!! A hard thing to do when 400 people are gazing up at you!!
Ashling Larkin: You and your dancers were just UNBELIEVABLE - thank you for all you did for me!
Carla Jackson: Your catwalk walk is impeccable and the girls were very thankful for showing them how to make the best of their walk.
