Model Aoife Cogan Marries Rugby Boyfriend Gordon D’Arcy! Check Out The Dress- WOW!

Rugby player Gordon D’Arcy married his model girlfriend Aoife Cogan last Friday and it seems Aoife may have introduced a new trend to wedding fashion!

The beauty queen wowed in a backless ivory silk Amanda Wakeley dress and Indian headpiece as she walked up the aisle at St Macartan’s Cathedral in Monaghan.

Aoife completed the alternative look with a pearl headpiece and flat sandals.

One onlooker said:

“The bride posed for pictures before going in and Gordon even took time to meet some local fans before getting married — they seem like a couple very much in love.”

I have to say – how amazing is this dress, I just love the simplicity of it and it seems Aoife has kicked off a new boho-style wedding dress trend. I can see lots of girls jumping on this fashion band wagon! I know this trend is something I would definitely consider for my wedding day! Simply stunning and bags of class!

Guests included, rudgy player Leo Cullen, Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Humberman, Jonathan Sexton and his partner Laura Priestley, Models Ruth Griffin and Sarah McGovern and Rob Kearney who was accompanied by his actress girlfriend Susie Amy.
