MY EXCITING NEWS: What’s Going On In Sue’s World!

How’s everyone’s week going? Mine has been hectic….. but a good excuse I suppose, I would be very worried if I wasn’t busy So to fill you guys in on my news, I’ll get started! Next week is going to be one of the busiest and most exciting weeks ever, actually scratch that – MARCH is going to be one of the most exciting months ever. So much is happening and I want to share my journey with you guys – my readers.

First things first, I have a new, slicker and girly SoSueMe.ie website on the way. Quite frankly SoSueMe.ie was in need of a little face lift after two years of serving me well, there was a few things I wanted to change and I also wanted the new site to be that bit more user friendly and overall professional looking! The look has changed slightly but it is sooooo me!! Think Hollywood, glamour and fashion – that is the new look and feel SoSueMe.ie will bring to your everyday browsing! I have also included a few new sections. The feedback I get a lot of the time from you – is that most (not all) of you love reading my personal blog posts more so than the showbiz side…. so I have taken this into consideration and you can now access my ‘PERSONAL BLOG’ section in the one place/tab on www.sosueme.ie. For example if you purely enjoy reading my reviews, my What I Wore’s, my holidays, the events I attend…. basically what I am up to on a daily basis, then this will be there area you will find yourself surfing the most.

I have also included a new area for my YouTube videos (coming soon, I’m just SO busy) and a BRAND new Rate Or Slate review type section. This will be an area where I will solely REVIEW beauty products, treatments, salons, restaurants, hotels, fashion items etc and give my full rating in terms of price, quality and usage. I will give a full overview, as I have always done, but this time – its all in the one area/section for you guys to browse. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? and I cant wait for you to see the new and improved SoSueMe.ie. Myself, Tony (the web developer) and Gary (the web designer) have been working on the new site since October and as I told you guys in a blog post a few weeks ago – I held out for the best lads in the design/ implementing industry to design the new site! I have been barking on about the new site design for the last year, but SoSueMe.ie is my baby and I am SUPER fussy, so I wanted it done to perfection!! Read more on that HERE.

Now onto my next piece of news, last year I was asked to become an official Diet Coke reporter, which was a huge deal to me as they are a mahooosive brand to work with. Part of the package this year is - I get to host Diet Coke fashion events and interview some great people. My first BIG interview /report is actually getting to meet and chat with Mr Marc Jacobs! In February, Diet Coke announced that Marc Jacobs will be taking on the role of Creative Director for Diet Coke in 2013. Marc Jacobs will bring his unique vision to the brand, by creating a limited edition collection of must-have bottles and cans, uniting the stylish and light-hearted personalities of both icons. Inspired by the three decades, the chic designs capture the rise of female empowerment through the ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s, with a whimsical twist – true to Jacobs’ signature style. ( Read more HERE)

The official launch is this Monday night in London town and Diet Coke are flying me and a full camera team over to document the whole trip, including attending the glitzy red carpet celeb event that night and interviewing the main man himself! To say I am a tad nervous about it all might be a bit of an understatement ;) But I am buzzing for it and I cant wait to get going! Now onto my third piece of news, the lovely Style Society of NUIG college in Galway have been in touch! Apparently I have a massive following in Galway (delighted to hear) and I have been asked to give a bloggers talk and host their annual fashion show to 800 students next week! So on the Tuesday night, I will be down to give a talk about my career to date, blogging and styling advice, then on The Thursday night, I will be back down again to MC/Host the fashion show, which I am very excited about! Can’t wait to meet you all

I will only be home on Tuesday lunchtime from London and I head straight to Glaway for the bloggers talk. Wednesday night I am reporting live from the Diet Coke Dublin event where the HUNK himself for the new Diet Coke ad will be (Hello handsome)! Thursday night, off to host the NUIG fashion show and Friday night, back up to Dublin to judge and host (MC) the Miss Wright Venue Competition in Swords! So busy, busy… but all so exciting!

Finally and in no way the least – as some of you might already know from the Facebook announcement? I have just signed to Andrea Roche Model Agency. I haven’t ‘modelled’ in a good year or two because I was focusing so much on my blog, but like anything, success brings lots of interested clients for bookings such as PA’s, MC events, judging of large events etc and of course modelling for brands etc. It made sense signing with an top agent who would be able to deal with all the new bookings coming in and Andrea has always been a friend, so I was delighted to join her Agency! That’s it for today guys! I have another BIG piece of news coming that is also taking up a big chunk of March – but I’ll keep that for next week!
