Nicki Minaj cancels Dublin concert!
It’s official! Nicki Minaj has cancelled her Dublin concert in The Olympia Theatre due to take place tomorrow night.
The Starships singer has been having trouble with her vocal cords lately, and recently cancelled her appearance at the V Festival in Essex.
Last week the singer was told to rest her voice, after performing two free concerts in New York, tweeting after:
‘And barbz its official, my voice is GONE!!!! I swear it held up just to spk to u guys last nite! Mind over matter. The mind is so powerful. It was all worth it for what I experienced w/u guys last night tho. Wouldn’t change a thing.’
A statement on the MCD website says:
She has been advised by her doctors that she will need to rest her voice for a couple of weeks.The band and crew have arrived in Dublin and everyone is devastated that the show cannot go ahead. MCD wish her a speedy recovery.
Nicki is still penciled in to play the O2 on the 5th of November, and anyone with tickets for tomorrow nights concert will get a full refund.
