REPORT: New York Fashion Week Make-up Looks!
So far, New York Fashion Week has been off to a great start, and Maybelline New York has been there reporting live as it happens!
Maybelline kicked it all off celebrating Fashion’s Night Out with a star studded party in the Meat Packing District, and has also been continuing it’s successful collaboration with top designers and make-up artists at incredible designer shows including;
VICTORIA BECKHAM
Special guest makeup artist Diane Kendall created a sophisticated nude look for Victoria Beckham. Cheeks were gently kissed with bronzer, while lids shimmered in soft brown shadow.
CUSHNIE ET OCHS
Black eyeliner stretched beyond the lid, giving the face a very feminine, wide-eyed appearance. Fluttery, voluminous lashes further enhance the eye area. Soft pinks on cheeks and lips completed the look.
LACOSTE
Fresh faced models perfectly captured the urban sporty vibe at Lacoste. A hint of sheen on cheeks and lids allowed skin’s natural radiance to shine through, while soft brown penciled-in brows and a touch of brown eyeliner on the eyes gave definition to this nearly-naked look. Nails were also given that practically-bare effect with a coat of soft pink polish.
MARA HOFFMAN
Tropical prints floated down the runway at Mara Hoffman. The makeup look, inspired by the word “Aloha,” a friendly, welcoming word used for “hello” and “goodbye” in the Hawaiian islands, featured dewy skin, a succulent orange lip, and a playful wash of color across the lids. The nail team created a sky and sea inspired effect.
DKNY
Models were pretty in pink at DKNY where Maybelline New York makeup artist Charotte Willer opted for a relaxed fresh-faced look. Dewy skin was paired with soft pink lips and a touch of sheen on eyelids.
CUSTO BARCELONA
A line of plastic dolls took over the runway at Custo Barcelona. Maybelline New York makeup artist Gato used BB Cream and concealer to make the models’ skin look so flawless it also seemed fake. Cheeks were highlighted with bronze eye shadow for a futuristic sheen.
