SIMPLE SUMMER HAIRSTYLES

SIMPLE SUMMER HAIRSTYLES!!

Surprise, surprise another post about Summer from me! Sometimes due to humidity hair can go frizzy and unruly in summer time! This week it’s all about simple summer hairstyles! These styles are so simple to do yourself and will keep you looking on trend for SS 11. These can be worn at the beach, to work or even on a night out. They are so easy to do but look amazing and will be the envy of all your friends!

Style One: The Beachy Beehive

This is a great look if you want to wear your hair but it pulls back off your hair so it doesn’t get in the way or more importantly stick to your face if its hot and sticky out!

Lightly spray your towel-dried hair with a volumizer and blow-dry using a round brush to create ends that bend. If your hair is naturally wavy you can let it dry on by itself for an even more natural look!

Gently tease and back-comb the very top of your hair by the crown of your head and then make a center parting.

Softly brush the hair back on each side of your part back to smooth them over and pin behind your ears. Spray with some hair spray and you’re ready to go!

Style Two: Boho waves

Summer is always about curled hair but this year the focus is on waves rather then curls or kinks.

Start by applying a with a little volumising mousse to your towel dried hair and dry with a hairdryer and simply running your fingers through your hair to create some natural wave.

Wrap a 3 inch section of your hair around a curling iron for 10 seconds. This is so quick to do because you can roughly take random sections to curl. Avoid the roots and only curl hair up to the ears.

Rub some gloss serum between your hands and then run your fingers through the curls to them and add shine to your hair.

Style Three: Beachy Braid

This is so simple but is trendy and practical. It will also keep your hair out of your face, especially if you have a side fringe! It does take practice though!

Distribute smoothing cream through damp hair

Make a deep side part. Take three sections from the part area and French braid across your hairline

Secure with an elastic. Keep your unbraided tresses bouncy with a curl-reviving spray.
