Bad news ladies; Ulster rugby’s Tommy Bowe and his former Miss Wales girlfriend Lucy Whitehouse are engaged, it has been reported. The couple, who have been together for more than two years, are said to have become engaged over the Easter weekend, with a picture of the ring posted on Lucy’s Facebook page.
Neither Tommy nor Lucy have made a public comment about the news yet, but friends told a national paper that they are over the moon. The pair met in a Cardiff nightclub in 2011 and Lucy later moved to live with the Irish rugby star.
Tommy had previously joked that their relationship was a little like Gavin and Stacey, as Lucy lived in the main female character’s hometown of Barry! Tommy has no shortage of female fans but ladies everywhere will just have to admire from a distance now he’s put a ring on it!!
