TREND ALERT: My New High Top Wedges!

Designer – Isabel Marant has officially started a trend with her Willow shoe. Aka, the high-top sneaker wedge! Not a fan of heels? Regular high-tops are just as trendy.

High top wedge sneakers are definitely on trend right now and are inspired by designers such as Isabel Marant as we have already mentioned, Giuseppe Zanotti and Marc Jacobs… but fear not as lots of the high street stores have them for less and they are almost identical without the price tag.

High top wedges will keep any look stylishly chic and comfortable at the same time! I personally just love them and all I can think about is pairing it with a leather jacket, tights and cut off Levi shorts in the winter season to give it that biker affect.

Get the lift you desire while sporting a casual high top look, or opt for the regular flat high top version. Either way, you’ll be stylin’.

I chose to get these navy and white high top wedges because they go with my skinny jeans and cut off denim shorts – they still have that kind of runner look to them which I love. You can get these ones in Korkys for €40.00. My sister also got a cool pair from River Island – her’s were €50!

If you’re not a fan of the wedge, check out Aldo for a funky pair! If you want to avoid the funk factor, stick with the traditional Converse. Try a pair in white, they’ll go with everything you own…even that LBD!
