TREND WATCH: Lace On Denim
A few months back, at our Coachella Fashion reviews, we brought you a ‘Look Of The Day’ in the form of Rosie Huntington Whitely wearing super cute denim & lace cut-off’s by Etsy …
Now all of a sudden i am seeing this trend reappear ALOT on my fashion radar, and i dig it! This could be one look to watch out for in the coming A/W season!!!
It has branched out onto dresses, shirts and shorts all over the high street and on the runway, I think it is a really cool mix of feminine v.s tough with soft lacy applique sewn onto tough denim.
This is a trend the budding ‘dressmaker’ could make at home by either gluing or stitching old lace to the hem of your shorts or simply on top of the fabric in random spots. However if you’d rather not make the effort here are some pieces Ive sourced on the high street just for you ….
