NYC Update Four – Tears, Tours and Triumphs!

IMG_5795

New York City, You Had Me At Hello ~ Sue x

Hello everyone  – how are you all?

The last few days have been a whirlwind… I can’t believe I am here a full week now and my journey is drawing near to a close 🙁

The last 7 days have been SO amazing and I will be documenting my full trip in up and coming book that will be launching early November.

The NYC chapter will be discussing all the shows I attended at NYFW, what I wore – the outfits I didn’t post, my daily happenings and the exciting projects I have been working on over here 🙂 Of course, I can’t tell you guys everything here as then the NYC chapter wouldn’t be as exciting when you guys but my book in Nov.

So I suppose a light update is needed –  this week myself and Dylan have attended more fashion shows, met with some big fashion CEO’s, visited some cool USA attractions ie: The empire state building and the statue of liberty etc, and not to mention going on the AMAZING Sex and The City Tour – which is a MUST for all girls visiting the city.

If you are coming to NYC – get in touch with Tour America about your trips and tours – they will get you the best price and package 🙂

>> A good few of you were asking about this cardigan in the pic above, you can shop it here.

I have been dining out every night (i’d say I have put on about a stone, if not more haha), sipping some tasty cocktails and shooting some outfits for my SoSueMeBook number 2.

I can safely say that NYC is my favourite place in the world and I would LOVE to live here and I actually might start looking into that for next year…. who knows 😉

You can read my NYC Update blog post 1 here and two here.

Tomorrow, I am heading down to New Jersey to meet with some family… the last week has been CRAZY and I am a little tiny bit homesick so meeting with some of my relatives will be a good cure I think 🙂

I also REALLY miss my two dogs…. Coco & Harper… I swear to god I never knew two little animals could bring me so much happiness. I miss them a lot… so much so that, myself and Dylan were sitting in a restaurant the other night…. I was exhausted and a little stressed because I am trying to reach book deadlines at the moment (which is a lot harder than you think), as well as blog, answer emails, send pictures back to my book editor, reply to your comments and actually do my day-to-day things here…… it all started to get on top of me, and, as soon as Dylan mentioned Coco and Harper  –  I just started crying hahaha.. in the middle of the restaurant, id say people around me thought he was breaking up with me hahaha!!

coco and harper

I don’t know if it was the martini, the tiredness or the stress, but I got so upset thinking about them and I never really cry. My dogs mean the world to me and I can’t wait to get home to see them. <3

We fly home on Thursday night late, we arrive into Dublin airport at 10am and then I am literally running straight for a flight from Dub – London to attend London Fashion Week with Canon which I am so excited about!! They are taking two Irish bloggers with them to attend shows – myself and the amazing Anouska Proetta Brandon, who I have followed for a long time. She’s a wonderful fashion blogger and she has done really well for herself, which I really admire. I am delighted they have chosen me as one of their bloggers for the trip.

So that’s it for now guys…. I am heading to bed for some sleep… the right time now is 22.46 USA time… so I will schedule this blog post to go out about 12.15pm your time tomorrow, so hopefully it will be a nice little lunch time read!

Thank you for following my journey to NYC and thank YOU for all the lovely comments… and to those of you who left the not so lovely comments, well……!

Sure I wouldn’t be doing it right if I didn’t have the begrudgers, ehh 😉

Happy Wednesday Guys,

Sue xxx <3

heres the comment that your deleted from your FB page :

All i think your missing thepoint – haters will be haters…why rise to it and continually refer to it in blogs. Why not concentrate that energy on for example partaking in some charity work. People can follow to appreciate the advice on clothes, makeup etc but it
gets a bit tiresome all the continual moaning about negative commentary – just
get on with it! Being in the public eye – its part and parcel so yea – get over
    it !

(screen-shot taken before this is deleted – just to have when Sue and her team are found out as FRAUDS …. see now im upset – shame on you) !! 🙂
