We’ve always been a fan of Hollywood funny gut Chris Pratt. Ever since his early days on Parks and Recreation you could see he had leading man potential with his sharp wit and abundance of easy charm. Well, now Chris has toned up and made a dramatic body transformation for his latest role.
Taking the lead in Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris underwent a strict training regime to get into shape for the role. The results are just brilliant as you can see from this before and after!!
In only 6 months he dropped 60 lbs and went from 300 lbs to a chiseled frame and six-pack abs. It was achieved with a diet of 4,000 calories a day, lots and lots of water and as Pratt describes it “Three or four hours a day of just consistent, ass-kicking hard work.”
Pratt’s workouts included sessions of P90X , running, swimming, boxing, kickboxing, and he even a triathlon. The actor is determined to keep up his new physique, working with a trainer six days a week while preparing for another role in the revamped version of Jurassic Park.
