So last Friday, Dylan and I flew over to London to attend the wedding of our friends, Oli and Vicki, which was taking place on Saturday.
The venue which the wedding was held at was so fabulous! I was a beautiful old-school English country house, surrounding a large courtyard. Such a romantic setting for a wedding! It had the most incredible views too.
The dress I wore to the wedding is from Cari’s Closet in Malahide. I didn’t have too much time to go dress shopping last week, as I was so busy all week planning and organising the photoshoot for my new book (more to come on this at the end of the week!)
Fortunately, Cari’s Closet had the ideal dress for me!

The dress seemed like the perfect number for the wedding because it wasn’t too fitted (ideal for when you are eating and drinking all day) and of course, black is always a safe bet. You can’t go wrong with it!
And how fab is the intricate beaded detail on the dress? I loved it! In case it got a little chilly, which it did, I also brought along my black Topshop slim curve blazer, which worked really well with the dress.
Honestly, is there any item that cannot be paired with a blazer? Definitely well worth investing in a good one! As you can see, I also wore my trusted Louboutin Lady Peeps (such reliables).
Even though they have quite a high heel, they are comfortable, so I knew they would be absolutely perfect for wearing to the wedding especially as I would be on my feet dancing for most of the night!
The wedding day itself was SO much fun, especially as it was spent in the company of amazing people who really know how to have a good time.
The following day, Dylan and I were so tried, but you know what? Not even full-on exhaustion could have stopped us from squeezing in a bit of Sunday shopping on Oxford Street! That place is just amazing!
I had such a great time in London, and I genuinely can’t wait to go back again!
