What I Wore: Dusty Pink Bow-Tie Shoes, Leather Trousers & A Crisp White Shirt!

Happy Monday! At least most of us are off work today, so it can’t be too bad…unless of course you are dying after a heavy night out last night! Ahhh well, it’s nothing pizza and a can of coke won’t sort! 🙂

I hope you all had a great Hallowe’en weekend! I didn’t dress up this weekend as I’m waiting for Hallowe’en night itself to go all out. I’m actually really unsure what to dress up as, so if any of you have any cool ideas, let me know!

Anyway on Saturday night I had a big night out with my friends to celebrate turning 30. A lot of you guys admired the outfit I had worn on the night, and so, as promised, here are the details!

While I was out for lunch with Dylan on Saturday, I decided to pop into Malahide’s new boutique, Posche. The store belongs to an old friend of mine, Rebecca Kennedy, and I was dying to check out her stock and to see how she was doing.

When I arrived into the shop, the most amazing pair of dusty pink bow-tie shoes caught my eye straight away, and I HAD to have them!

They are to die for and the ultimate statement shoe. The boutique stocks lots of cool labels and one-off designer pieces, so if you are around the Malahide area you have to drop by and check it out. It’s really fab.

Anyway, after I got the shoes, I then had to find an outfit to go with them. I initially had a plain black dress in mind, but when I was over in River Island in Pavillions with Dylan shortly after getting the shoes, a beautiful crisp white shirt with shoulder detail caught my eye.

Instantly, I envisioned a look consisting of the leather trousers from LarasFashion – which I already had at home in my wardrobe (score!), the white shirt, my amazing new bow-tie shoes and some ultra GLAM dusty pink jewellery to finish off the look.

While I was getting ready that night, I also remembered that I had in my wardrobe a gorgeous pink blazer from iclothing.ie. Once I had that on, my outfit was complete!!!

A few of you were asking me about my tan and lippy. Well I was wearing Baby B Browne Tan and my lipstick is the new Rimmel Provocalips range. See Friday nights post here… and the shade I wore this time was 200 I”ll Call You! Ha… cool name ehh?

Overall I had a great night out with my friends and as for today…. it’s chill out time!

Have a great bank holiday!

Loving the material Sue (pardon the pun) the website is amazing especially ‘what I wore’ I check it everyday. I’m not one to care for celebs or make them idols but you are an inspiration and you deserve all the success your reaping

    Hi Sue,
Loving your website, great tips as always, Keep up the good work!!
The Photos above are lovely, you look stunning.
Just wondering do you recommend the In-Styler for the Volume in your hair or do you use roller’s alone to get the height and volume, or use both In-Styler & Rollers????
Looking forward to your new book again.
    Grace.
