Short Hair Must Have: The Kevin.Murphy Powder Puff Volumising Powder!

As you all know by now a few weeks ago I had the chop! After having long brown locks for nearly ALL of my life, I took a chance and cut my hair and thankfully – I am delighted I did it.

For months now I have been toying with the idea of chopping my hair. Quite frankly, I was bored of it, it was getting harder and harder to manage becuase of how busy I am these days, and on top of that, I was finding my hair lacking volume and over all fullness.

After chatting with my hairdresser Ami, she agreed that a change would be good and we decided to cut it a little longer than shoulder length. I am actually due my next head of GOLD FEVER extensions in soon and so if I didn’t like it, I could have my long hair back in a second (well a few hours really). But I have now decided I am going to keep it this length.

A good few of you have asked if I still have my extensions in and the answer is YES. I 100% couldn’t be without them. I love the thickness they give to my hair and so going forward I am going to get the shorter length in 🙂

Now on to the styling…. 🙂 The fun part.

Since getting 6inches off my length, I can do so much with it and style it in a second! I am actually thinking about doing a YouTube video on styling my hair, is this something you would like to see? Comment below!

Anyway – I have since started to use some new products and one I cant live without is the Kevin.Murphy Powder Puff. In a nutshell, powder puff is an instant poof in a jar and brilliant for short hair!

To create a messy casual volumised look all you have to do is gently tap a few shakes on the hair that you want body on (for me thats the roots), and the powder morphs into a product that holds the hair in place and gives amazing volume.

Now YES there are a load of products that do the same thing on the market and I have tried A LOT of them Dylan too… and both of us agree after using this one it’s the best. Somebody asked if it makes your hair feel weird like some of the volumising powders out there. I wouldn’t say weird, but you can feel the product in your roots, but to be honest, like any styling product, you’re going to feel it in your hair.. but for me, I dont mind that becuase I hate flat hair and so I love the feeling of big hair… if that makes any sense? 🙂

The Kevin.Murphy powder Puff is €22 and you can buy it here from www.shampoo.ie, I know Hessions in Drumcondra and Clontarf stock it too 🙂

Happy BIG hair!

Love,

Sue xx

Yeah I tried the one from Penney’s before.. I didn’t like the tacky notty feeling it left and couldn’t touch my hair or get my fingers through it then. Must give this a bash! It sounds much better. And YES please do a video on styling
