My Day Time Casual Dinner Look From Marks & Spencer | FASHION

Photo 29-12-2016, 4 05 42 p.m.

Hi everyone,

This week between Christmas and NYE is one you spend eating out with family and friends, watching movies and chilling, right? Well it’s what I do anyway 🙂

Although Christmas itself has passed, I always feel like I have to dress up in something nice and fashionable for those days in between Christmas where you find yourself out dining and visiting friends.

Just before Christmas Marks and Spencer’s got in touch about a collaboration and so I knew right there and then that I would choose a nice outfit for the week between xmas and NYE, as well as some cosy PJ’s for lounging about the house watching xmas movies as part of my collaboration.

As I said before, I have great memories of shopping in M&S over the years with my mum especially for our Christmas clothes! So I was only too delighted when they got in touch and asked me to showcase my favourite casual holiday look from their website.

When I was choosing my look, I knew what I wanted straight away – something comfortable, classy and stylish that I could wear time and time again, and that’s exactly what I got.

The first thing that caught my eye was this stunning military style blazer from the Per Una range. You guys know how much a I adore a blazer with button detail and this was was so up my street. I love the fit, how it sits open over the jumper, the slight shoulder padding and check out the button detail – so glam, yet sophisticated! The thing about this type of blazer is the longevity it will give you – it will never go out of fashion and that is why you should invest in a simple, but stunning blazer like this one.

Next up I chose this wearable one piece – it’s a shirt and jumper combined, but detachable too which is genius.

This two piece set consists of a chic sleeveless long line shirt and a cute cropped wool jumper which allows you to wear them separately or together! I love pieces like this over jeans – the shirt gives off that chic, classy vibe, while the jumper pairs it back for a more day time relaxed look! Ideal for eating out with the family over xmas, and another bonus….it’s not too fitted around the tummy area, meaning there is plenty of room for comfort while eating. 🙂

To finish off the look I went with a high waisted pair of black denim jeans and my new Gucci kicks! Casual, yet chic!

Last night when I got home, I got straight into my new PJ’s – I chose these stunning floral Pj’s from the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Autograph collection!

What I loved about them was how soft and cosy they were, and sure look, if there good enough for Rosie, then they’re good enough for me 🙂
