REVIEW: Lancôme Teint Visionnaire Skin Perfection Foundation!

10455339_666526610097406_6045743633109621631_n

Two weeks I ago, I headed over to Dundrum Town Centre to pick up some bits and bobs when I noticed an old friend working on the Lancôme counter in the Boots store. I went straight over to her in the shop and we chatted for a little bit about her new job there and the products etc. Of course, being a beauty blogger, I am always interested in hearing about makeup and so Mandi talked me through their new foundation called Teint Visionnaire.

Just before I left, Mandi gave me me a few samples to try out and the foundation was one of them.

On Sunday I was getting ready to head out for the day when I noticed the foundation sitting my beauty shelf, and so I decided to give it a go. Instantly I loved it, it ticks all of the ‘foundation boxes’ for me!! It’s really creamy, excellent coverage but feels light on the skin at the same time, and it gives of a fabulous dewy finish.

When I posted a picture of my makeup look from Monday night, a lot of you were asking about my foundation and this is the one I was wearing! 🙂

The GREAT thing about the Teint Visiomnaire is that it offers 2 expert steps in 1 foundation to combine perfect coverage and natural finish!!

1. High Coverage Corrector:
The High Coverage Corrector is enriched with Vitamin C. Its creamy texture immediately reduces the appearance of dark spots, dark circles and imperfections.

2. Flawless Perfecting Foundation:
The perfecting foundation flawlessly evens out the complexion and visibly improves the appearance of pores.

Overall this foundation is a new favourite for me and I will be heading into Lancome this week to purchase the full sized bottle, I am nearly out of my sample (their samples are a great size)!! If you are after an even and flawless looking complexion where your skin’s appearance looks visibly improved, your skin texture looks refined and your  imperfections are hidden, then you have got to try this foundation!!

The colour I wore is 04 Beige Natural in case you are wondering 😉

How To Apply:

Step 1: High Coverage Corrector
Using a small concealer brush apply the High Coverage Corrector before the foundation on targeted imperfections for optimal coverage of dark spots, dark circles, any redness or blemishes.

Step 2: Flawless Perfecting Foundation
Apply the fluid using a foundation brush in a circular buffing motion to create a natural and flawless-looking finish to your complexion.

This foundation is  little more on the expensive side costing €43.80, but in my opinion it’s well worth it. To purchase this foundation, click here.

Have any of you tried this foundation before?

Happy Shopping!

    Hi Sue,
I purchased this recently as well and was really excited about it but find it doesn’t last long at all. Having said that I don’t use primer. Before buying this I always used Estee Lauder Double Wear and found that it stayed on ALL day. Would you recommend using primer with this foundation and if so would you recommend any in particular?

    Thanks! 🙂

Bought this last Friday & instantly fell in love with it!! use Maybelline “Fit Me” during the day which I love, but was looking for a good foundation for wearing in the evening! Its so light on my skin but gives fab coverage! I absolutely love it & have def found one i’ll be sticking with!! It’s costly but worth it as stays in place!Niamh

NEVER fingers! Someone once described it to me this way ‘Would you paint the walls with your hands? Same thing’ hehe… 100% use a brush 🙂 It gives a nicer application and finish xx

Im using it and lovvvve it. Am also converted to the serum and moisturiser. Its a fantastic range and the dewy finish gives such a youthful look (I’m 46). Wouldn’t swap it!!

I bought this ages ago in shade 01 and found that although the foundation was good the concealer on top was not a perfect colour match, it was darker…disappointing.

Hi Sue! Would you know the best way to apply Naked foundation? A brush or just fingers?

I have been using this foundation for about a year now and it would take a miracle in a jar to get me to change. Beautiful coverage even without the concealer which is a very generous size, my teenage daughter loves it and mixes it with less expensive foundations for a perfect finish. Pricey but worth every penny and lancome do so many promotions during the year it actually works out ok. A must!
