When I reviewed the NYX setting spray last week, I told you guys that I had a new primer to shout and scream about and so here it is 🙂
I have to admit, I was never really into primers until recently. They just weren’t my thing.
Highlighters on the other hand, now THEY were very much my thing, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to be introduced to a product that not only kept my makeup perfectly in place all day, but also added a gorgeously dewy glow to my skin as well!

Even though I am a bit of a newcomer to the world of primers, I would confidently bet that Laura Mercier’s Radiance Foundation Primer is possibly the best one out there! I absolutely love it!
I was first introduced to this beauty by the makeup artist, Michelle Montgomery, who recently did my makeup for one of the photoshoots for my new book. Before applying my foundation she used the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer on my face.
It was so light, it blended really well into my skin, and it also dried very fast, which meant there was no delay between priming and foundation-ing! 😉
Come the end of what was a VERY long day, I couldn’t believe that my makeup was still absolutely perfect … and it was all thanks to this one gem (and Michelle’s makeup skills too)! I picked up this primer the very next day and I can safely say that it helps my makeup last all day every day – how have I done my makeup without it before?
Bronzed addicts (my hand shoots up) will be pleased to hear that this amazing primer is also available in ‘radiance bronze!’ YAY, I cant wait t to get this one (I purchased the normal foundation one, by mistake).
Laura Mercier has a range of great primers for all skin types, so if you don’t want the one with the subtle highlighter in it, then maybe just opt for the standard foundation primer.

I have been using this primer for years and absolutely love it…. Chanced a MAC on once and I ran straight back to this. Amazingly it’s gone down in price which is fantastic!!
