With summer comes swimsuit season and the thoughts of hiding those little dimples that almost everyone has somewhere!
Even super models have a little cellulite!
But never fear- you can smooth it out with some simple ingredients most of us will have in our kitchen.
You’ll need:
- Approx 220g of coffee granules
- 6 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp sea salt/sugar
- A jar
- A dry brush
How they work:
Coffee: The caffeine in the coffee has been proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite over time. It tightens the skin and it’s rich in anti oxidants .
Coconut oil: Anyone who is a fan of coconut oil, will know it’s the ultimate moisturiser and that can’t hurt!
Salt or sugar: Sea salt or sugar granules provide another exfoliating hit.
Dry brush: Massaging your skin with a dry brush stimulates blood flow and encourages smoother, firmer skin.
Measure out your dry ingredients and stir them together in a jug/bowl.
Melt the coconut oil in the microwaves and add it to the dry ingredients. Stir it up!
Pop your scrub into a clean jar or container.
Before getting into the shower, brush the areas of cellulite lightly with a dry brush, using a circular motion, to stimulate blood flow and get the best out of your scrub.
Jump into the shower and apply your DIY scrub to the areas with cellulite. Massage in a circular motion and rinse off. Continue to use the formula each time you shower to reap the benefits.
