Coloured hair used to be a trend for the punk rockers and the ‘out-casts’, but now there are more and more people rocking this trend including many celebs who are influencing the public too.
Every Summer the trend grows in popularity for Festival-goers or just fashionistas who want to have fun with their hair. Rita Ora is the latest celeb to join the gang with dip-dyed colour ends – with added glitter too. Kelly Osbourne has been sporting coloured tresses for a long while now, most recently her colour of choice has been PURPLE … which in turn has been the popular choice for all.
The most recent and surprising celeb to join in is ‘serious’ actress Anna Paquin. The normally reserved Mum of two has dyed her hair purple this week – perhaps she is kicking back as True Blood comes to an end and her signature blonde hair is no longer needed. Either way, it seems everyone is giving the coloured hair movement a go.
If you’re too scared to grab the bottle of dye for yourself, why not give a go with some less permanent – hair chalk. It’s a cool, edgy Summer beauty look that can be worn at festivals or just for fun on nights out.
