I have always been a HUGE fan of Kendall Jenner, and I thought she looked so amazing at the Billboard Awards this week. Seriously, this girl can do no wrong (except for when it comes to reading autocue!)
I know that lots of you really loved Kendall’s Billboard look just as much as I did, so, seeing as how just last month I had my hair in a sleek straight style very similar to hers, it seemed like the perfect time to show you guys how to achieve the look!
Even though the poker-straight style is very ‘Hollywood’ in a way, it’s actually surprisingly easy to recreate. It’s just a matter of knowing the right products to use…
Here’s what I used:
1. First I washed my hair using the Aussie shampoo and conditioner. I am a huge fan of the Aussie hair care range. It’s so affordable, and has always been a staple feature in my arsenal of hair care products. In fact, the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner have long been two of my holiday essentials, so if you’re heading off anywhere soon, be sure to do your hair a favour and bring these with you! (At the moment I am also trying out the Aussie hairspray, which I LOVE!)
2. Next, I applied my all-time favourite leave-in-conditioner, the All In One Treatment Spray by Uniq One. I swear by this product! It’s the one product that will do absolute wonders for the health of your hair, (not to mention also add shine and body! What more could you ask for?) The results are great! 3. After blow drying my hair straight with a round bristle brush, I then smoothed it over with some Moroccan Oil, followed by a spritz of Herra Hair Perfume. The touch of oil gave my hair a beautiful healthy shine and smoothed any potential flyaways, while the hair perfume left it smelling divine for hours on end. The scent lasts so long, but then Herra Hair Perfume has always been so much more than just a fragrance. It leaves your hair feeling extremely silky, it protects from UV rays, and it won’t weigh down your hair or leave it feeling greasy. It is the perfect product to complete any hairstyle. I just had a look through your blog for the first time and to be honest I am disgusted at how you speak to anyone who disagrees with you. You have put yourself out there as a blogger and it seems that if you aren’t constantly admired and adored by your “fans” then you label people “jealous” or “haters”; no Sue these people aren’t jealous of you, they are simply disagreeing with you. Your tone in some of your replies is actually quite shocking, and I’m sure I myself will get labelled “jealous” or something similar for even writing this post. You even blocked some of my friends from your instagram page for simply saying that your particular outfit that day wasn’t their cup of tea, they said nothing nasty to you, but your reaction was so ott. Is this how you treat people?? Because you are earning yourself a very bad reputation. You may have an army of teenage followers who fangirl over your every move, but it is the people who really matter that are starting to see you for the blagger, not the blogger that you really are.
Cue Sue’s reply and the sopportive “well said Sue” onslaught in 3..2…1…….
Can you let us know how to blow dry the hair properly – maybe another blog post? I find it difficult to do right and my arms get sore!
Also, do you not have to use hair straightners? My hair never looks properly straight and sleek unless I use them.
