Yesterday I was busy working on SOSU stuff and then filming for Littlewoods Ireland, that I will tell you about in another post.
A few weeks back I mentioned that I have been dying to try YSL’s Rouge le Orange Lipstick for quite a while now… well last tonight I finally got around to testing it out and WOW.
It’s the most beautiful orange-red colour and looked incredible on Cara Delevigne in the campaign shots. It’s also Kourtney Kardashian’s signature red – if it’s good enough for a Kardashian, its good enough for me haha!
When I tried it, the first thing I noticed about it, apart from the amazing pigment, was how moisturising and hydrating it felt. I have quite dry lips so I always notice when a lipstick is moisturising.
What really struck me was how divine it smells. It’s one of those products that just smells of luxury.
Rouge le Orange is pricey (€33), there’s no denying that, but once in a while it’s nice to treat ourselves to a high-end cosmetic so if you are looking for one that is worth every cent, then I would definitely recommend Rouge le Orange .
I was one of the lucky people to be sent a press sample of the lipstick, but had I not, I would definitely have bought it.
It’s very much a statement colour, so if you wear it, don’t forget to tone down the eye makeup.
