My June Favourites!

Hello ladies…. and hello JULY.

It’s that time again, a new month! Can you believe it! Where is the time going at all? We are half way through 2015, isn’t that CRAZY! In one way I am happy the year has taken off so well, but in another way, I don’t want it to end – I have so many more goals to achieve! Have you?

Anyway….  as you know, most vloggers will do a monthly favourite video. But because I have loads of videos going live on my channel over the next two weeks, I thought I would do a blog post instead.

Like most beauty bloggers, I am sent my fair share of products to try out each month in hope they make an appearance here on SoSueMe, but I am super fussy and only rant and rave about my ultimate faves! These little beauties I am about to tell you all about are a MUST buy from me and so affordable too.

So get that pen and paper out and start your beauty wish-list, because these products are AMAZING and here is why!

1. MAC Global Glow Highlighter

I have featured this beaut in my Irish Sun Column as my buy of the week and it also made it to the list of my favourite highlighters this month too. This highlighter really is a god send. I simply cant do my makeup without it anymore. Offering a stunning golden shimmery pigment that last’s all day – it really is the highlighter that every girl should have in her makeup bag for summer and nights out.

2. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil

This product that made an appearance in my May travel essentials when I went to the Caribbean with Dylan and it is UNREAL. This oil is the answer to that glistening J-lo glowing skin. Not only is it super hydrating and great for popping over your tan – it gives the skin the most amazing dewy finish and locks in any colour you pick up. It ticks all of the boxes really.

I actually reviewed this product x2 years ago and I can’t believe I forgot about it until May – it is so good and lasts forever! A little goes a long way with this product which makes it an added bonus!

3. TRESemme Wave Creating Sea Foam

This month I created a YouTube Tutorial showing you guys how I achieve that tousled hair look by just using product instead of a hair tool. The foam is so easy to use, smells diving and because it is infused with Sea Kelp extract, it helps create natural-looking waves. It’s perfect for summer and the hair style is perfect for holiday season!

4. Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation (NEW)

This foundation is actually not due out until next month I think but OMG it’s amazing. They sent it to me to try out before it launches and I am SO in love with it. I have been using MUFE foundation for about a year now and I can hands down say – it is one of the best foundations I’ve ever used. Offering a lovely dewy finish with good coverage that is build-able, to me it’s the perfect makeup.

I usually mix mine with my Chanel Vitalumiere to create the perfect tone, but lately I have been using it on its own in shade 123 and I love it.

5. NYX Blush in Silky Rose

This blush is so girly and the perfect shade of pink. If you are looking for that natural tint of slightly flushed cheeks, then you will love this. I am a massive fan of the NYX makeup and this blush has become a staple of mine!

6. MAC Lipstick Blankety

The perfect nude lippy in my eyes! If you are a lover of nudes, you are going to love this, if you dont already that is!! Blankety is an incredibly creamy, pigmented pinky beige/ nude shade and I just love it. I wear it most days to meetings etc and a good few people have complimented it on my lips.

7. NYX Wonder Pencil (medium)

I only started using this pencil two weeks ago and I am hooked! It’s such a great product and it does so much too! It’s a concealer, an eye brightener, and lip-liner all in one! It’s also super affordable. I have used it for over lining my lips, and as a concealer for when I want to tidy up the brow area. I also love using it on my waterline as an eye brightener. Works like a charm.

8. CrownBrush Liner Brush (S008)

Lately I have been using nothing but the Inglot Gel liner. I have finally managed to perfect my liner skills (god that took a LONG time) and I use this nearly every time I want that smokey eye with the perfect winged eyeliner. Of course, the application would be FAR from good if it wasn’t for my eyeliner brush from Crownbrush. Right now I am LOVING the S008 SoSueMe eyeliner brush and it gives me the perfect think winged liner look that I love.
