My September Favourites!

september favourites

Hi guys, another new month… time is FLYING! Hello October – my birthday month 😉

As you all know, each month I like to look back on my favourite products I have been using and loving. This month, I am a little late – but hey better late, than never! My faves range from skincare right through to hair – so something in there for everyone.

Hope you enjoy! x

1. YSL Lippy

ysl lipstick

Up first – THIS YSL Rouge L’Orange lippy . Just wow. Granted, it’s a little more expensive than the lipsticks I general recommend, but my God is it so worth it. Hydrating, long lasting, instant colour pigment  = WIN! It is also quite possibly the nicest red/orange shade I have ever used.

You can read my full review of it here.

2. L’Occitane Creme Divine Moisturiser

l'occitane creme divine

I just started using this last month and wow. I had just run out of my usual Juliette Armand Moisturiser so I tried this Divine Cream by L’Occitane and I fell head over heels in love. No wonder it’s called Divine!

Just so you can get an idea of what it’s like to apply, it’s a really rich moisturiser that smells absolutely beautiful too. I read that it was voted the Best Miracle Cream last year and now that I have used it myself I can totally see why!

Dry / dehydrated skin is a problem for me, but this cream left it feeling so soft and hydrated. Major thumbs up!

3. Colour Wow Root Cover Up

I’ve been using Colour Wow for a year or two now but I decided to include it in this particular post because people had been asking me about it lately after I used it during some photo-shoots.

Being so dark, I usually need to get my roots done every 8 weeks or so.

If I’m busy and don’t have time to get to the salon however, I use Colour Wow in the shade ‘dark brown’ to cover up those annoying root greys. It’s been my go-to product for root touch ups for ages now, and it’s so handy to use too. It comes with a little brush so all you have to do is just paint it on and you’re good to go!

All my aunties went grey quite young and it’s something I appear to have too, so for me, something like Colour Wow is a necessity! You have to check it out. Most salons have it including Cowboys and Angels and Ceira Lambert.

4. Roger & Gallet Bois d’Orange Perfume

I have always loved expensive perfumes, but I prefer not wearing them during the day when I’m working – it’s a total waste – I prefer to save them for night time events and special occasions. As a result I have been carrying around this Roger & Gallet cologne for general day-to-day wear and I LOVE it.

I love this particular scent because it reminds me of a summer holiday in Spain when I was a kid – the ultimate cologne. It’s quite strong and it lasts ages.

You can get it in most McCabes Pharmacies.

5. Cocoa Brown Instant Bronzing Gel

Recently, Cocoa Brown’s Marissa Carter invited a select few bloggers along to a dinner last month where she revealed her brand’s two new instant bronzing gels in matte and shimmer. They’re wash-off tans and I have been using the shimmer one lately whenever I need an extra colour boost on my arms and chest. It has such a lovely golden colour and it smells DIVINE!

The shimmer in it is so beautiful. It’s hands down the most sparkling shimmer I have ever seen in a tan. It can be found in Penney’s and it’s so affordable too!

Definitely a must-have for me and for €6.99 – you cant go wrong really, can you!

So there you have it guys, my September favourites!

What were yours?
