My Beauty & Outfit Details From London Last Weekend!

sue london

Hi everyone!

So I’m still getting questions about my London wardrobe and beauty regime in terms of products which is why I have decided to do a full post!

Two Fridays ago, we headed to London which you can read all about here.

When we arrived, due to delays, we had no time to change for the Ed Sheeran gig, so I ended up wearing my airport outfit which consisted of a white off-the-shoulder top from Zara and jeans. I’m loving these tops at the moment. They’re so pretty and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

A few beauty questions I was asked is, what tan was I wearing, the glow on my shoulders and my mascara…. so I am going to answer them for you in this blog post – but first lets get the fashion out of the way.

ON the Saturday, Dylan and I had planned to go shopping so for that I wore a black off-the-shoulder top from Zara, my favourite Molly jeans and Prada sunglasses. I wanted to be comfortable but yet stylish at the same time.

I wore a blazer which I picked up in on sale in Zara the day before we left. It’s a gorgeous peach colour – so perfect for teaming with black.

And lastly, the jumpsuit!

If the messages are anything to go by, you all LOVED this jumpsuit I bought over there!

It was a little on the pricey side but there was a sale on in-store on the day so I was able to take advantage of the discount. I particularly love the cage detail. It’s just so striking. I know I will have it for years to come and the best thing about it is that I can wear it anywhere!

It’s such a nice fit, and the quality of the material is amazing, but I will say this. I don’t think it would work on a girl under 5’7 in height. That’s the only disadvantage. Of course, you could get it taken up in a place like Zip Yard but you would be taking a risk because it does appear to have been designed for girls of height.

I paired it with my peep toe Louboutins. I didn’t bother with a jacket because it was so hot in London that day. (Honestly, I’m talking Spanish weather type heat! It was crazy!)

Now to the beauty…

My Tan:

I have been swapping to and from a few of my faves lately. One being the new Rimmel Sunshimmer mousse which is great for a natural colour / streak free tan, the next being St Moriz which makes my skin super dark – great for the weekends and then Exposed, a UK tan only starting to take off here that gives a lovely, long last colour for a special occasion such as a holiday etc.

  1. Sunshimmer Mousse (Medium): A lovely natural colour that dries in and goes on like a dream. €10.49 from Boots
  2. St Moriz (Dark): The ultimate dark and super easy to apply. The colour pay off is UNREAL! €4.99 from Penneys/Primark
  3. Exposed (10%): A stunning spray tan perfect for any big occasion offering a gorgeous golden colour! From €25 for a full body spray depending on salon

The one I was wearing that particular weekend was Exposed and I loved it.

Glow / Dewy Skin Finish:

You guys might already know by now that y x2 faves have to be The Body Shop Coconut Body Shimmer Butter & The NUXE spray shimmer oil. I generally apply the moisturiser first and then spritz the spray  onto my mitt and then apply it to my skin. You can read my review on the moisturiser here and the oil here.

My Mascara:

The No7 Dramatic Eye Lift mascara is the dream!

When I started using the new Dramatic Lift No7 mascara a few weeks ago, I feel in love with it straight away! Not only does it help lift lashes, creating the ultimate wide awake look, it also gives a weightless feel with no residue rubbing off underneath your lower lashes throughout the day. That is why it’s a winner for me! I wore it all that weekend and you guys were asking me a good bit what mascara I was wearing and so it was this one. You can read my full review here.

My Highlighter:

MAC Global Glow – my ultimate fave! I used his on my shoulders, tips of my cheekbones and on chest. It is a gorgeous golden baked colour and I literally can’t live without it. You can read more of the product here.

There you have it guys! My London wardrobe & beauty secrets in full!

The Body Shop body butter is shamazing! It smells like holidays on a sandy shore – no lie. It even captured the attention of my fella, which is no mean feat! Good buy for sure.
