Hi guys!

Happy Friday!

I am absolutely delighted to be collaborating with Jervis Shopping Centre and New Look to bring you this exciting fashion competition!

New Look has always been a fave high street store for me. They always have amazing trend driven pieces and the prices are so affordable. I particularly love the New Look in Jervis Shopping Centre as it is the largest New Look store in Europe and one of the largest New Look stores in the world, so if you’re from outside Dublin and are wondering if it would be worth the drive to the capital, then I can tell you it would definitely be well worth it!

I have often hosted fashion shows in the Jervis Shopping Centre and the one thing I always noticed about the New Look branch there is that there’s always such a HUGE variety of day and night time looks.

With Electric Picnic happening this weekend, I thought it would be cool to feature an affordable and stylish festival look, and the best news is – you can WIN my full look too!

Festival style for me is all about comfort and that is exactly the kind of look I went for.

Parka – here // Chino Shorts – here

Bodysuit – here // Cap (as seen in next pic) – here

The first piece I absolutely adore is this Patch Work Parka Jacket. I chose this because at the moment I am loving the patch effect. You might remember the jeans I wore a few weeks ago that had the patch effect on them and you all love them. This jacket has a real cool Rihanna vibe to it, it’s cozy and for me it’s a wardrobe staple. I have a few jackets like this from many seasons ago – so really it will never date.

I have always loved that military style and this jacket really has that vibe. It’s perfect for the festival but also when I want to wear something that’s super-stylish but casual at the same time. Throw it on with skinnies, shorts, anything and it works.

Of course the best colour to go with khaki green is a rust brown, beige etc. So I decided to go with these really cool shorts! They fit like a dream and are the perfect length for festivals. (No bum cheeks pls haha). They work brilliantly as part of a festival wardrobe because after all, a long military jacket paired with shorts is practically the classic festival look!

Because the jacket has the patch detail on it and because the shorts are a strong colour, the best top to wear with this was a simple white bodysuit tee. The best thing about this one is it’s a bodysuit! I find you always get a neater look with bodysuit Tee’s and they will keep you warmer!

I can never have enough of white Tee’s and bodysuits. They go with everything. My long term readers will know from my previous hauls that whenever I hit the high street stores I’m always stocking up on white and black tee’s and vests. New Look is great for staple items like those.

Similar brown boots (not part of prize) – with fringe – here // without fringe – here

To finish the look, I picked up this really cool baseball cap. I’m a big fan of baseball caps and I especially loved this one because of the patch detail on the front. It goes so well with the look; really pulls it all together, I think.

There you have it guys, my full festival look! If you’re heading to EP tomorrow or if you’re just looking for some ideas for super-stylish casual wear, then I hope this post gave you all the inspo you needed.
