I’m Waiting for my follow up after getting an abnormal result, frightening but so glad I get them regularly and know it’s being dealt with. Knowledge is power where your health is concerned! Getting married in November and looking forward to a happy healthy future

I turned twenty five last year and had my first smear. It was abnormal, I was referred for a colposcopy and discovered I had precancerous cells. Luckily I have had treatment and everything is back to normal, however if I had delayed my test or not kept all of my appointments I dread to think what could have happened. You might feel nervous or embarrassed but those few seconds that the test takes can literally save your life!
