Contouring – Best Bronze and Highlight Buys!!

Hey Guys!

Hope your all having a good Tuesday! We are back today with a blog post on some great products for contouring. We have recently seen the likes of strobing (Here) and baking trending in the beauty world, but we must say we still love to contour!

If you have found your method of contouring that suits your face shape, you will agree that there is no going back to any other methods. If you haven’t tried it and fancy doing so, we will be listing some great affordable buys 🙂

So enjoy guys and let us know what your holy grail contouring products are!

1. Bourjois Bronzing Powder & Highlight

So our first great  contouring product is the Bourjois Bronzer and highlighter. This product is great for a gorgeous natural contour that will suit for day-to-day use. It is not the darkest shade so will suit the a pale-medium skin tone best and the highlighter is not too shimmery for your day wear.

We love the cute chocolate inspired packing and the smell is divine!

Coming in at €11.05, this product offers great value for money and will leave you beautifully sun-kissed and glowing!

2. Rimmel Natural Bronzer and Good To Glow Highlight

As you all probably know by now, we are huge fans of Rimmel Make-up not only for the price, but the amazing quality! These next two products are a great combo for achieving a very dewy and contoured look. This bronzer was mentioned in one of Sue’s recent videos and we cant get enough of it! It is a gorgeous matte bronzer with great pigment.

When contouring we always find that a matte bronzer looks more natural than one containing shimmer especially for day-wear. We teamed it up with this new highlighter liquid also by Rimmel. This is a gorgeous highlight and can be used on the cheekbones, brow bone and cupids bow in your contour routine.

You can also use this under your foundation if your really want a stunning glow for pictures 🙂

3. Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit

We have heard so many rave reviews about this product recently and we can really see why! This next product is the Seventeen Define and Conquer contour kit. The two shades are all you need for achieving a totally flawless contour. They are the light highlight which does not contain a shimmer, and the dark matte bronzer.

This is a product that is great if you prefer a matte finish without a shimmery base.

The two shades are very natural and pigmented so not much of the product needs to be used which is great too!

Its also a total bargain at just €8.49!!

4. theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer

the bal

theBalm is a brand that we have been hearing a lot about recently. It previously was only available in the states but it is finally making it’s way over to us! Beauty Bloggers across the US frequently mention this bronzer and after trying it recently we loved it too! As you may be able to see from on in the picture above, this bronzer has a brown hue rather than orange which guarantee a more natural contour.

There is nothing that ruins a make-up look more than an orange bronzer making us look like oompa-loompas!

This bronzer comes in a little bit more expensive than the previously mentioned at €20.74 but it is a great product and lasts ages!

5. Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour kit

Last but not least is this Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour kit. This is the best out of the products mentioned if you are looking for a deep contoured look that will really scuplt your face. It also comes out brilliantly in pictures (and selfies) 😉 It comes in three shades from fair-dark so you can chose based on your skin tone which will suit you.

We think this is a palette that would suit more of a night make-up look and would look amazing with a smokey eye! Coming in at the most expensive at €44, but a great investment product for your make-up bag especially for you party girls 🙂
